The Ohio Township Sanitary Authority meets on the first Thursday of the month at 5:00 p.m. at the Ohio Township Nature Center - Lower Level, 325 Nicholson Road, Sewickley, PA 15143 unless otherwise indicated.
ATTENTION: 2026 OTSA RATE INCREASE
Due to increased operating costs, the Ohio Township Sanitary Authority will have a rate increase of $0.77 increase from $11.07 to $11.84 per 1,000 gallons of water used with the quarterly base charge remaining unchanged.
Beginning on January 1, 2026, all metered OTSA customers will be charged a quarterly sewer base charge of $62.58 and a usage charge of $11.84 / 1,000 gallons of water used as reported by West View Water. Unmetered residential well customers will be charged a flat quarterly rate of $299.38. Unmetered commercial well customers will be charged a flat quarterly rate of $536.18.
The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) provides sewage treatment for the majority of customers in Ohio Township. ALCOSAN invoices the Authority based on water usage reported for each sewer user. OTSA has several pump stations / treatment plants in the Township that ALCOSAN does not service. The Authority contracts with McCandless Township Sanitary Authority (MTSA) to maintain those facilities.

Customers will continue to have the ability to make one-time payments through the website or continue to pay by check or bill pay. All payments made by check should be made payable to O.T.S.A. and mailed to or dropped off at 1719 Roosevelt Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
