Planning Commission

The Planning Commission consists of a seven-member board with staggered four-year terms. They are responsible for short and long term planning for the Township and serve as an advisor to the Board of Supervisors. The Planning Commission reviews subdivisions, land developments, zoning amendments, and conditional use applications in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).

Planning Commission meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public and are held at the Ohio Township Nature Center - Upper Level, 325 Nicholson Road, Sewickley, PA 15143 unless otherwise indicated. 

Plans must be submitted thirty (30) calendar days prior to the regular meeting in order to be considered for the agenda. Click here to better understand the review process.
